How It All Began
Every formula began as a problem I refused to leave unsolved.
InVine Botanicals did not begin as a business plan. It began as a return to nature.
As a child, nature was not somewhere I visited — it was where I belonged. The forest was my refuge. I wandered beneath trees, disappeared into gardens, and crushed herbs between my fingers just to breathe in their scent. The smell of earth after rain, the quiet strength of trees, the mystery of wild plants — these things fascinated me long before I understood why.
I didn’t know then that they were preparing me for something.
Like many people, I eventually drifted away. Life became full in the most beautiful ways — a career I loved, a husband who runs toward every challenge he can find, and three children who are the most extraordinary and humbling humans I have ever known. I poured myself into all of it.
The forest became a memory.
Until my own body demanded I come back.
How We Make It
The InVine Process
We infuse herbs the timeless way — slow, gentle, and in harmony with nature’s own rhythm.
Whole herbs from our Tallahassee garden are harvested at peak freshness, dried for 4-9 days depending on the plant, and then steeped in cold-extracted organic oils for 6-8 weeks depending on the herb used in the infusion — always in cool, dark conditions, never in sunlight — allowing the complete botanical profile to gently unfold.
Each batch is then strained, blended with beeswax to set the balm’s structure and Vitamin E to keep the oil fresh, and poured and capped by hand in small batches. Every jar is finished with a printed label marking its batch number and infusion date, so every formula is traceable back to its harvest.
